    Tewkesbury Floods
In July 2007 the worst floods recorded since 1947 struck Tewkesbury town and surrounding areas.

I got together with a number of neighbours and offered my assistance to those who lost their belongings in the town. Neck high in water; I managed to deliver bread, bottled water and other essentials to trapped homeowners. For this I was awarded a Community Trophy and certificate not long afterwards, but was not expecting anything for my help.
